WOYWW - 149

Another Wednesday (already!?!) another whizz around the world courtesy of crafty work-desks...here's mine

I've got a bit of a "monster" production line going on here...it's coming up to a lot of first birthdays with my antenatal mums group and we have a joint party for five of them on Saturday so I am busy putting together some cards.

This basket was part of an Easter gift from a crafty chum and it's great for chucking in half finished projects and things I'm in the middle of. It is mostly full of tags from Creative Chemistry 101...still not even half way through the online course yet!

Here's my lovely stash of buttons, I used to have them all colour coded in little glass bottles but being short of space I tipped them all into one box. It's more hassle to find the button I'm after, but excellent fun to rummage around in.

And here is a scrummy paper stash just waiting to be cut up...

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to visit all the other WOYWWers

  2. Those monsters are looking good! I know what you mean about the buttons, I used to have mine all in a giant baggie than one day I'd had enough and sorted them all into baby food jars, it is fun to rummage though! -Mari #38

  10. Love the monsters! :o) I started to colour code my buttons in little jars, but ran out of matching jars so to be honest I think I'm gonna just put them in one tub again, it's nice to rumage through them! I have that paper stack, I love the quality of DCWV stacks, there's some lovely patterns in that stack - enjoy! x April #129

  12. Cool desk. Ref the buttons, being somewhat anally retentive, I'm not sure I could mix them up like that now but I remember rummaging through my Mum's amazing button boxes as a kid....

    Thanks for stopping by.

  13. I love your little monsters. Our littlest granddaughter has just had her first birthday and I am sure she would have loved one of those. My buttons are all sorted into little trays right up high so I never think of using them for crafting. most of them came originally from my grandmother's stash, beautiful glass beads etc, via Mum's button tin. Not sure I could bear to part with most of them yet. Thank you for your visit and your kind comments. Have a good week. xx Maggie #2
