I'm in the middle of some thank you cards with a new stamp and Promarkers
And I'm also trying to decide what to do with my latest find...
Best news of the week...I received my WOYWW badge from the lovely Julia and it is now proudly displayed on my craft bag...
Thanks for stopping by, be sure to check out all the other WOYWWers at Stamping Ground
Aw, the badge goes out and about with your stash, how fun! Love your colouring on the balloons, delighted that tackling a fairly detailed image has come out so well. Mostly, glad you're better and hey - that desk is still amazingly neat and tidy!!
ReplyDeleteOh I love the balloon men, reminds me of my school days learning about the Montgolfier brothers...ah the golden age of steam and balloon flight - so romantic
ReplyDeleteDx @ 80
wow, so neat you are, the art work is beautiful, it fun to see the before and after,
ReplyDeleteI love those balloon stamps, I've yet to try promarkers, I seem to see them on so many blogs I'm assuming they're worth the outlay? Happy Easter, Suzanne #100
ReplyDeletePS I'm now a follower, love the blog
Glad you're feeling better, but I'm sorry I didn't make it back to your desk last week. Blogger threw a hissy fit at me and then Lil Miss B needed help getting ready for a trip abroad with her real-mum.
ReplyDeleteLove the balloon stamps, very vintage, and you've coloured them just right!
As for the dress form, I think they are an art form in and of themselves, I'd leave it right where it is and just admire it daily!

DeleteBeautiful colouring and that dress form is stunning, I'd have it in my bedroom on display if that were me! Take care, & enjoy peeking at the WOYWW desks this week. Zo xx 78
ReplyDeleteLove the Phineas Fogg balloons - the colours are very vintage. I agree, the dress form should be left for a while and admired for the beautiful lines. Glad you're better now :)

One I Made Earlier Today
Lovely colouring and your workspace looks so tidy and neat. I am fascinated by promarkers which seem to be a real UK used pen. Here in OZ they all seem crazy about copics. I am still playing around with watercolour markers and crayons. So I have a long way to go before I can colour with the big girls!!
ReplyDeleteI love the colours you have used for the Thank You balloons. Helen T (No 115)
ReplyDeleteGreat looking desk!! The hot air balloon on my tag is indeed a stamp - one of Tim Holtz's from one of his latest releases.

Thanks for visiting me! Your desk is beautifully tidy! I am so envious. And that Promarker colouring you are doing is very nice.
ReplyDeleteSophie, Glad you are feeling better. Thanks for your comment on my Altered Book. Your little dress form is crying out for "something" but what I sure don't know either. I got my badge too, isn't it brill? BJ #58
ReplyDeleteHi Sophie,
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy that your feeling better. Your desk looks great and I now realise that I need a lamp for mine.
The colours on the balloons look brilliant.
I think you're post is the shortest one that I've visited so far ~ I'm having an incredibly busy time and having trouble visiting everyone so thank you for helping.
I'm desperately going to try and make mine shorter next week...but then here I am woffling away on your's!!!
Have a lovely long Easter weekend. Enjoy :D
Oooh be nice to see what you do with the artform - I have one half done..... have covered her with a book page, music paper and tulle so far and then run out of steam! Thanks for visiting me and have a great Easter - Sunshine Girl.
ReplyDelete...some gorgeous shading going on there and a fabby badge too...thanks for sharing...Mel :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you are feeling so much better and ready to get back to that lovely shading in. Thank you for popping in this week and for your good wishes for Flash, who is doing well. Have a good Easter. xx Maggie #9
ReplyDeleteLooking at the angle of your desk, you have done incredibly well to keep your promarkers on the desk!! LOL!
ReplyDeleteYour profile photo certainly fits the order of the day, fleeces! Brrrrrr!
Loving the stamp you have there and well done on your colouring. Nice to hear you are better.
Fergus came from Scotland and now jumps in my case whenever we go anywhere and likes to have his picture taken with famous peeps, including Hels and Sir Tim Holtz!! He even has his own scrapbook of his travels!! LOL! xx
Love the dress form! So exciting to have a new project! Received my badge too! But I'm all the way here in the Philippines- I doubt I'll see somebody else wearing it except my sister peggy! Patsy from

I love your colouring and the image is gorgeous! How talented!
ReplyDeleteWhen you decide to do something with your dressform I might get around to doing something with mine. My first idea was to make flowers, different techniques and use the dressform to showcase them - then three birdcages came along so I have them all to do.
Sorry I am so late, things got in the way. Thanks for sharing, stopping by me and putting your number (so appreciated.) Happy Easter - Hugs, Neet #10 xx
I wouldn't call it a state at all lol...looks like a nice place to sit and craft .... that's fab colouring.

Beautiful cards, in the works :) Loving your dress form, wish I had room for one. I would love to display cards on one, clipped with clothes pins!

ReplyDeleteLove the cards and your very delicate use of colour. What a lovely organised desk you have! Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteThat is one tidy craft desk you have, not sure how you craft on that lol
