WOYWW - 147

What a sorry looking sight...an empty craft desk

Sorry for the late post, I've been an ill bunny for the last few days so no crafting this week, not even had the strength to watch any Creative Chemistry 101 videos since last Friday and am now many, many days behind. Instead I thought I'd show you where I keep all my stash.

I love the Really Useful Boxes...they stack and pack so well and I can see through them so don't have to pull everything out to find the stamp I'm looking for.

Thanks for looking and for more WOYWW madness, please hop over to Julia's place...

  10. Oh, what a sad desk. Please put some buttons, paper, stamps, inkpads, pens .... on it!! Hope you are feeling stronger and back to crafting. Love your storage. I have some of those boxes and they are great - very good quality. I want to get some more and sort out more of my stash. Ali x # 182

  11. Awww Sophie, your poor little desk looks so bereft... even the lamp has a droop in its neck lol!! I love your beautiful wooden furniture and the RUBs - I've got a few of these but hope eventually to have loads of them for all my stuff.

I do hope you are feeling better soon - I've been feeling pretty poorly most of the week too and haven't been doing much stuff in my ARTHaven since Christmas... At least I can do my knitting and zentangles.

Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog! Glad you like what I've done so far!

    Happy belated WOYWW,

  12. Get well soon Sophie! Your desk does look sad, being empty, but your pink storage boxes have saved the day, they not only look great, but are well, really useful (well, someone had to say it!)

Take care of yourself, and thanks for your visit to my desk x

  14. It takes a lot of courage to be rude about Tim Holtz on a blog like WOYWW, I can tell you!! but I'm not a paper crafter, so feel that I can take liberties :D
Poor you, feeling rough - there's loads of it going around at the moment. It always feels unfair if you've got through the winter unscathed and then fall ill when the weather warms up! Hope you're on the mend anyway.
Thanks for the lovely comment on my blog :)

  17. Hi Sophie, Sorry you've been poorly, a drastic way to get a tidy desk! Your storage looks great, I should learn from you - none of my things are in clear boxes and I have to get everything out to find (if I'm lucky) the item I want!
I've failed with WOYWW browsing this week, had a busy week and not even halfway through yet!

  18. Hi Sophie I think you need to call 999! Your stash has been stolen! Seriously I love your neat desk, mine has never EVER looked that good. Hope you feel better soon. I haven't played with Tim's 101 classes yet, hoping to find time today.
    Thanks for sharing, Erika.

  19. That desk is so so neat and tidy. Do you always leave it like that when you pack away?
Hope you are soon feeling better.

  20. oh dear, not great news about you being poorly - especially if it affects your crafty time...

the collapsable bins you saw on my desk and mentioned, were from IKEA but alas, aren't current stock, someone kindly gave me mine (I have one in blue too). IKEA do have some different collapsable bins in that have large numbers on the front. You'll find them in the childrens department of IKEA, in the storage area near the pocket things you fasten to the wall... there aren't that many places for them to hide in 'Children's IKEA'...

  22. Thanks for popping by my desk.
If you have trouble with sticky stuff you need to get yourself an adhesive eraser. Mine is a xyron one but I'm sure there are other makes. They're about 5cm square, look all bobbley and work the same way a usual rubber works. Great for crafting and just getting price label stick off of things!
I use the talc on the back of stickers etc. If you dust the backs with talc, the talc sticks to the stick and cancels it out. (I don't think I explained that very well!)
I do hope you feel better soon x

  29. Hope you are on the mend, you are doing a fab job with the TH class, I loved all the techniques on the ATCs in the post below. You've inpsired me to take that course (luckily it is always available, I've taken Jennifer Maguires classes through there, and they were great), I have lots of his materials. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Barb

  30. I'm really late visiting everyone this week. So I hope you're feeling a bit better when this gets to you. How tidy are you!?!?!?!? I wish all my stuff was as easy to get to as yours. I should have gone for those clear boxes. I have Ikea cheapo storage boxes but they're cardboard so not as useful - false economy I think!
Hope next week's visit will find you back to creativity! (Thanks for visiting me)
